Off-Campus Information

The people that brought you the revised PEP service have revolutionized the way you look for apartments. See what your peers and former residents have to say about the spaces that you may very soon be inhabiting. And once your time away from the lovely BC campus is done, don't forget to return to this page and give your opinion on your apartment. Landlords, owners, and living conditions chnage from year to year, so don't you owe it to the students coming after you to keep the cycle going, and submit an evaluation to make their decision easier.
Thank you for taking the time to check us out. I encourage you look through this site because we have looked far and wide to bring you the best resources for living off-campus at BC. If you are a junior currently living off, this site is certainly for you. If you are a sophomore and have an apartment, this site is for you. If you are a sophomore or freshman and don't have an apartment and don't know where to start and don't know what to do, this site is for you.

This guide covers many topics of interest to off-campus students such as; tenants rights, safety, resident parking permits, what to do if arrested, when can a landlord enter your apartment, and much more. Keep in mind that the people at ODSD are here in order to help you, specifically the Dean for Off-Campus Issues, Paulette Durrett at 617-552-3470. If you haven't found an apartment yet or need help with your current situation, the Office of Residential Life is also a resource. Please contact Marianne Carrabba or Joan Doyle at 617-552-3075 in the Res. Life office. They are great at helping students find apartments successfully and in dealing with problems. Do not hesitate to call them or the Director of Residential Life for UGBC, Mike, at 6-1169. We are all here to help make your experience living off-campus as painless and enjoyable as possible.
