Student Organizations

Description

The Board of Student Organizations oversees the approval process for new student organizations on campus. We also hope to enhance the experience of students involved in already established student organizations by hosting events, working on policy initiatives with the UGBC Student Assembly, and advocating for the needs of groups to the Office of Student Involvement and other administrators.

If you are interested in starting a new organization, please refer to the New Organizations page. Applications open on September 17, 2018.

VPSO Office Hours:

Board of Student Organizations

Office Hours are by appointment only.

Hey all! My name's Annie Roberts, and I'm from Denver, Colorado. I'm a senior at BC studying Information Systems and Business Analytics and minoring in American Studies. My free time is spent following Denver sports, browsing memes, eating Chipotle (Norovirus outbreaks can't stop me), and skiing, hiking, mountain biking, or rock climbing. Outside of UGBC, I serve on the executive board for the Shea Center for Entrepreneurship and TA in the Information Systems department.

Having been in UGBC and on the Board of Student Organizations since my freshman year, I'm stoked and honored to be serving as your VPSO for the 2018-19 school year. Student organizations play a critical role in shaping each student's college experience and connect with nearly everything that takes place here on The Heights. This year, we've assembled a dedicated team of individuals to help existing and prospective student groups thrive. Whether you have an idea for a new club or a suggestion about how we can better engage the clubs we help oversee, my door is always open.
